Business Talent Sourcing & Retention
Avid Scot develops an understanding of the client organisation and also develops the role specification, action plan and candidate questionnaire. We identify and evaluate candidates for initial selection and interview. We then assess candidates fit to client’s organisation and culture. After filtering, we pre select and present shortlist to client. We assist in negotiations and follow-up candidates at 3 and 6 month period after start date.
People Performance Coaching
Avid Scot explores the objectives of the intervention by one-to-one developmental discussions and aims at specific issues/areas. We specifically focus on improving performance and developing/enhancing individual’s skills. Our coaching activities have both organisational and individual goals. We work on the premise that clients are self-aware, or can achieve self-awareness and provide people with feedback on both their strengths and weaknesses. We can discuss and explore personal issues but the emphasis is on performance at work. At Avid Scot, we believe that proper structured coaching is a highly valued, effective and skilled activity.

We help you analyse and help you discover your company’s overall potential. We aim to show you how to strategise around your strengths in the marketplace and work with you to show you how to develop key competitor tactics to allow you to win more often. You will receive guidance to develop a comprehensive tactical plan to achieve your success and we help you create and develop key measurements that mark the progress of financial estimates that will guide your growth. You will have an overall action plan for success, whilst providing your sales force with a clear tactical plan that is also aligned with management's strategic objectives.
Competitor’s Customer Acquisition Strategies
At Avid Scot we research and identify major competitor threats within the marketplace and analyse your competitors and establish the value of potential business. We contact our industry contacts to further gather key competitor customer information and then decide with your senior management the next steps in the strategy. Through Avid Scot’s headhunting expertise we subtly source the competitor’s key people and build further intelligence and decide what the financial cost will be to bring their ‘best people’ over. We put in place a plan to achieve this, working closely with HR and Finance and deliver the individuals to the company off site and in complete confidentiality. We also agree the remainder of the strategy to block counter offers from the competitor company. Finally, we debrief the new recruits and follow up with them at the 3 and 6 month points in their new career. |
